Uptown Moose, Inc., based in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, provides business operations, IT infrastructure and telecommunications consulting to businesses of all shapes and sizes. Founded by Justin Newman of Chicago, Uptown Moose provides traditional consulting as well as acting as a no fee sales agent, allowing customers to receive the benefit of Newman’s decades of experience at no cost.

When acting as a sales agent, Uptown Moose’s fees are paid by the companies whose products our customers procure. We help our customers sort through the myriad of cloud services, and manage their monthly spend. Please read our disclosure to understand how we make money.

Justin definitely isn’t as fun and cool as our name suggests. Perhaps this comes from too many years in telecom? Or maybe he was never that fun and cool. Regardless of the cool factor, Justin has served as COO of a large scale telecommunications platform, he’s founded telecom companies, shepherded multiple acquisitions, and worked to reinvent corporate culture. When he’s not busy helping customers or writing about blameless culture, he’s often enjoying time with his wife and gradeshool-aged son, generally at a basketball court where his son is shooting hoops.
